1/4 C. bourbon
2 T. dark brown sugar
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 t. ground cumin
3 garlic cloves, minced
10 (4-oz) beef tenderloin steaks, trimmed (1-1/4 in thick)
1 t. kosher salt
1/2 t. ground black pepper

Combine first 5 ingredients in a large zip-top bag. Add beef to bag; seal. Marinate in refrigerator at least 2 hours, turning bag occasionally.
Remove beef from bag; discard marinade. Sprinkle beef evenly with salt and pepper. Heat a large cast-iron grill pan over medium-high heat. Add beef to pan; cook 4 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness.
