Homemade Pizza Sauce

Ingredients
14 oz can good quality whole tomatoes (preferably home canned or San Marzano)
3 T. EVOO
1/2 t. sea salt
few pinches of dried oregano
2-3 leaves fresh Italian basil, torn into small pieces
1 clove garlic, minced (optional)
Directions
Pour the can of tomatoes into a bowl and crush with your hands or roughly chop with kitchen shears.  Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well.  Taste for salt and add if needed.

** On the miniature pizza that I make with the whole wheat naan, this is enough for an entire batch of 12 pizzas
