10 medium tart apples, pared, cored and sliced
3/4 C. apple juice
1/2 C. raisins
1/2 C. honey
1/4 C. packed brown sugar
3 T. flour
1 t. cinnamon
Topping:
1/2 C. quick-cooking rolled oats
1/2 C. whole wheat flour
1/2 C. wheat germ
1/2 C. shelled sunflower seeds
1/4 C. honey
4 T. butter or margarine, melted
1. In large bowl combine apples, juice, raisins, 1/2 C. honey, brown sugar, flour and cinnamon. Put mixture in a 11"x7" casserole dish.
2. Combine oats, whole wheat flour, wheat germ, sunflower seads and mix well. Stir in honey and butter and mix well. Spread over apple mixture.
3. Bake in 350 degree oven for 45-50 minutes
