1-1/4 C. canned crushed pineapple
1 C. molasses
1/2 C. dark brown sugar
1 apple, peeled, cored and chopped
1 pear, peeled, cored and chopped
3/4 C. chopped pitted dates
1 C. raisins
1 C. slivered almonds
1 T. chopped onions
1 C. cider vinegar
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 t. salt
1/2 t. cloves
1/2 t. cinnamon
1/2 t. allspice
1. Combine all the ingredients in a large heavy saucepan.
2. Bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer for one hour, until thick.
3. May be stored in the refrigerator for several months
4. Serve as a relish with chicken or turkey
