2-1/4 C. sifted flour
1/2 t. salt
1-1/2 sticks margarine, softened
3/4 C. sugar
1 egg
1-1/2 t. vanilla
1 (6 oz.) bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 lb. candy making chocolate (or 12 oz. bag semi-sweet chops and 1/4 C. melted butter)
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Sift flour and salt.
3. Beat together butter, sugar, egg and vanilla in large bowl until well mixed. Blend in flour mixture a little at a time. Stir in chocolate chips.
4. Shape dough into 2"x2" logs. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 10-12 minutes or until cookies are set. Cool on wire racks
5. Melt chocolate; dip ends of cookies into the melted chocolate and put on waxed paper to cool.
