Blondies

Ingredients
1 C. butter or margarine
2 C. firmly packed light brown sugar
2 eggs
2 t. vanilla extract
2 C. all-purpose flour
1 t. salt
1 pkg. (12oz.) semisweet chocolate chips
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Grease and flour a jelly roll pan; set aside.
2. In medium saucepan melt butter or margarine over low heat.  Remove from heat; add sugar and stir until dissolved.  Add eggs and vanilla; continue beating until smooth, scraping sides of saucepan occasionally.  Stir in flour and salt just until blended.  Fold in chocolate chips.
3. Spread into prepared pan.  Bake 25-30 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.  Do not overbake.  Cool completely in pan on wire rack.  Cut into squares.  

Makes about 18 squares, about 335 calories each
