For the balls: 2 Lbs Italian sausage 1 8oz package cream cheese Bread crumbs Couple handfuls of Sauerkraut (I'm guessing that would be about a 15 oz can) Coating: Flour Beaten egg bread crumbs
1. Brown, drain and crumble the sausage 2. Mix sausage with cream cheese, bread crumbs and sauerkraut to a consistency that will allow you to form a solid ball. Do not form the balls yet. 3. Chill for about 3 hours 4. Remove the mixture and form balls to desire size (1 inch?) 5. Roll balls in flour, egg and then breadcrumbs 6. Deep Fry until golden brown After cooking balls may be frozen for longer storage. Reheat frozen balls in oven at 400 for about 10 minutes or until hot throughout.
